Human Resources Information Systems andTheir Impact on Employee PerformanceAssessment Strategy: A Practical Study onJordan Telecom Company in the Hashemite Kingdom of JordanHisham O. Mbaidin(B)Faculty of MIS Abstract. The study aimed to identify the human resources information systemsand their impact on the strategy of evaluating the performance of the employeesof Jordan Telecom Company. The objectives of the study achieved through aquestionnaire were developed for the purpose of data collection. The (SPSS.16.1)statistical software was used to analyze data. The most prominent results were:The level of importance of human resources information systems (the efficiencyof human resources information systems, integration with other MIS,responsiveness) in Jordan Telecom was moderate in terms of respondents’perceptions, as well as the impact of human resources information systems in theperformance assessment strategy. Human resource systems accounted for 54%of the variation in the strategy of evaluating the performance of Jordan Telecomemployees. In light of the achieved results, the study recommends, the mostimportant of which is the development of human resources information systemaimed at tracking the performance of employees to improve their performanceand improvement, and recommended the development of human resourcesmanagement policies, so as to contribute to the detection of the potential andpotential of workers.Keywords: Human resources information systems · Employee performance assessmentstrategy
