Abstract :
An approach is described in this work fordetecting discomfort moments during electrical waterheater daily usage. The approach employs chromaticanalyzing sensors signals of electrical water heatersystems for producing distinguishable mapping tocharacterize and identify selected discomfort moments. Thepreliminary results obtained indicate that it is possible todistinguish such events in a non-intrusive approach.Hot water comfort detection and classificationintelligently through human behavior monitoring andanalyses plays an important role in both, energy savingand energy management. The focus is on recording the discomfort situationsfollowed by merging system outcomes with efficiencyevaluation will be used to provide helpfulrecommendations for selecting appropriate operatingstrategy.
