ABSTRACT:
Nernst-Planck equation was used to try to understand the separating behaviour of Mg2+, K1+, Na1+ and Br1- ions from brackish water using nanofiltration membrane. The model was run for different membrane pores at different flux of ion based on the membrane area to study the rejection behavior.
