Abstract :

The study aimed at identifying the level of depression among only children in the basic upper stage, and the descriptive analytical approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (88) students in the capital governorate of Karak in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the results of the study concluded that the averages of estimates of the level of depression among children in Karak governorate came with an average rating for all domains and the total score, and the results indicated that the level of depression does not differ among lonely children according to gender and grade, and the study came out with some recommendations, including the need to involve lonely children with some children to reduce their depression
