Towards Stating Behavioral Objectives
In the Southern Jordan

ABSTRACT
This study aims at investigating English language teachers' attitudes towards stating behavioral objectives in the Southern Educational Directorates in Jordan. The sample of the study comprised (196) English male and female teachers, during the second semester 2005/2006.Means; Standard deviations, MANOVA, and ANOVA were used.
The results of the study showed that stating behavioral objectives differ according to the gender in favor of male teachers. It is also, affected by the period of teaching in favor of the length of teaching, as well as, the teachers' qualification and the higher qualifications. Finally, the study revealed that teachers' attitudes were affected by the level they teach with greater variance shown at the advanced level. Some suggestions were addressed to those who are concerned.
