Abstract  :

This study is concerned with civil liability of an arbitrator in common and civil law. It also spots the light on the judicial immunity of an arbitrator in comparison with a Judge. It is concluded that an arbitrator is liable contractually and in tort in every legal system that does not have a provision on his immunity.
