The Impact of Force Majeure on the Application of Contracts with Deferred Implementation

Abstract

The impact of force majeure on contractual relations and the adequacy of legal texts to address the concept of force majeure are of high significance. The descriptive and analytical research approach is used to achieve the research objectives. Implementing the contract as agreed upon is subject to the conditions of the contract remaining as they are. For example, if the conditions change to a situation where implementing the obligation becomes impossible or burdensome, it requires legislative intervention that relieves contractors from the risk of terminating their contracts before completing their implementation. With that being said, the paper elucidates the impact of force majeure on the application of contracts with deferred implementation.
