Abstract:

This study analyzed the voters’ political mindset in the election campaigns in Southern Aghwar District in Jordan for the year 2023/2023. It used an interpretive content analysis to examine the civilians’ approach against Kleptocracy and the intrusion of Kleptocratists by viewing the voters’ online reactions on Facebook to reveal the emphasis of the sense of democracy and closeness against Kleptocracy or illegal activities. This research explored the voters' use of evaluating language use against Kleptocratists in election campaigns and their effect on the political mindset of voters in Jordan. The participants of the study were selected using a purposive sampling procedure for a group of Jordanian Facebook posters residing Southern Aghwar (Ghore Al Safi) district. This study used a three-dimensional approach to prevent the corruption and use of Kleptocracy including educational, legal, and multi-stakeholder approaches. The results showed that these approaches were unsuccessful because of specific Jordanian political and social activities. In addition, the findings indicated that due to Kleptocratists' interferences in civilians’ voting campaign affairs, the contest against Kleptocracy is only related to local Jordanians’ debates, representing a high voting commitment against interventions being abolished from the corridors of the election campaigns in Jordan.
