ABSTRACT

        This research aims to evaluate the practical stages followed in applying the method of strategic management within the context of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE). It also explores the fundamental differences between the applied stages and the scientific stages that must be followed when performing the process of strategic management as approved by the literature of contemporary strategic thinking. The primary data were collected using a questionnaire that was designed and distributed to the whole population of the study (45 participants). Data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) .    
         The study revealed several important findings, it was found that the majority of the participants do not have sufficient knowledge concerning the concept and components of strategic management. The applied procedures suffer from a lot of shortcomings and ambiguities, which requires raising the level of awareness concerning the concept and components of strategic management among employees.

الملخص

         يهدف هذا البحث إلى تقييم الخطوات العملية المتبعة في تطبيق أسلوب الإدارة الإستراتيجية في بورصة عمان، ومعرفة الفروق الجوهرية بينها و بين الخطوات العلمية التي يتوجب عليها إتباعها وفقا لما تقره أدبيات الفكر الإستراتيجي المعاصر. وذلك من خلال تصميم وتوزيع استبيانات الدراسة على المبحوثين شاملاً جميع إفراد مجتمع الدراسة (45 مشاركاً) ومن ثم القيام بجمعها وتحليل بياناتها باستخدام برنامج حزمة البرامج الإحصائية الجاهزة SPSS   (Statistical . Package for social Sciences  ).

     وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج الهامة والتي كان من أبرزها اكتشاف أن  غالبية موظفي البورصة لا تتوفر لديهم المعرفة الكافية والوافية عن مفهوم ومكونات الإدارة الإستراتيجية ، بل إن الإجراءات التطبيقية المتخذة حاليا  يكتنفها الكثير من أوجه القصور والغموض ، الأمر الذي يتطلب من القائمين عليها العمل على رفع مستوى الوعي بمفهوم ومكونات الإدارة الإستراتيجية بين العاملين .
